Holiday Scheme

Autistic children deserve to have fun and meaningful experiences too!

We understand that school holidays can be challenging for parents, especially when their child is on the autism spectrum. Mainstream holiday schemes may not always meet the specific needs of autistic children, as they often require specialised care from trained staff. Many autistic children thrive with one-on-one or two-on-one support.

At Autism Jersey, we recognise the importance of providing a safe and inclusive program for autistic children during the holidays. Many parents describe our scheme as a lifeline for their summer break.

We are excited to be part of a new initiative commissioned by the Government of Jersey, aimed at delivering an inclusive holiday program for children with differing needs and abilities who may not be supported by mainstream providers.

In collaboration with The Centre Point Trust (4-11 yrs) and The Jersey Youth Service Inclusion project (12-17 yrs), we offer specialist support tailored to children aged 4-17 years. This ensures that each child receives the appropriate level of support in a setting that best suits their individual needs. Our approach focuses on the unique requirements of every child, fostering their growth and facilitating smooth transitions as they progress in age and ability.

Autism Jersey is dedicated to creating joyful and inclusive holiday scheme experiences for all children, embracing diversity within our community.
